Bognor Regis is perfectly placed for an amazing night out in one of the nearby cities, such as Brighton and Portsmouth, both of which are just a short hop on the train.
But, when you don’t want to travel further afield, you’ll be pleased to know that Bognor Regis itself has a great nightlife scene, with new and exciting places to discover popping up all of the time. The town has been trying hard in recent years to offer something special for anyone looking for a night out to remember and it certainly hasn’t failed in its mission.
Of course there is the mighty Butlins Bognor Regis which sees cool couples and groups of all ages flock to the venue for its amazing live music weekends. These huge events offer all kinds of musical entertainment from a throwback to the 70s, 80s and 90s to its massive Ibiza Legends and Soul Weekender.
But if you’re on holiday in the area and are looking for a night out in Bognor Regis outside of Butlins, there are a good few ideas listed below…
Dress to impress and party the night away
Check out the super trendy TAO bar which opened in late 2017, bringing a real boost to the town’s nightlife scene. This bar wouldn’t look out of place in a city, offering sleek decor, awesome beats and great service. A must go for anyone looking for a great night out in Bognor Regis.
Then, for fans of cocktails, there’s the Worst Kept Secret. A small cocktail bar which hides itself well from the outside, but once you step through the door, you’ll find a great atmosphere, sublime tunes, fantastic service and cocktails that are out of this world.
Friendly local pubs
If some good pub grub, a friendly atmosphere and a good range of drinks is what you are looking for, check out The Aviator on the Bognor Regis seafront.
All aviation themed, there is a delightful feel to the place. One of the nicest things to do is sit out on the terrace and enjoy the gorgeous sea view. It’s a popular place with the locals for good reason and offers a friendly welcome to anyone who wants to pay a visit. It’s also a superb destination for a Sunday roast the day after your night out.
Low prices and a good boogie
Right in the heart of the town centre is the William Hardwicke which is a firm staple of the Bognor Regis nightlife scene. It went under new ownership in June 2017 and re-opened with an impressive phase of refurbishments and a new captain at the helm. “The Hardwicke”, has always guaranteed a fun night out with friends. It boasts some awesome resident and guest DJs and on Saturdays it’s free entry all night.
If you’re on holiday at Butlins and want to head into town to check out the nightlife, the William Hardwicke on Bognor Regis High Street is definitely worth a visit.
