As we mark Stonepillow’s 30th anniversary, the Big Sleep Out is coming to Bognor Regis for the very first time! Proudly sponsored by Kiwi Recruitment.
Swap your bed for a cardboard shelter for just one night, and get sponsored to sleep out, so others don’t have to. This amazing challenge raises funds and awareness of homelessness and the work we do across West Sussex. Every penny you raise will enable us to provide essential support to local homeless people within our community.
When? 4pm, Saturday 11th May – 8am, Sunday 12th May Where? Bognor Regis Town Football Club have kindly let us host the event in their grounds. Nyewood Lane, Bognor Regis PO21 2TY.

Who can take part? Everyone! You can register as an individual or why not get a group of friends or colleagues together? The Big Sleep Out can be a great team building exercise.
Please note, anyone under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must download and complete a parental consent form.
Can my organisation get involved? Yes absolutely! This is a fantastic opportunity to support a worthy cause whilst raising your profile in the local and wider community. Find out how.
What about fundraising? We encourage participants to set themselves a target of £250 per person. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to get started, we offer support and guidance every step of the way – it’s fun and a great challenge! Head to JustGiving to set up your very own sponsorship page. If you are unable to take part in this year’s event but would still like to make a contribution, you can either donate directly to Stonepillow or sponsor another participant via JustGiving.
Why a Big Sleep Out? Stonepillow provides support 365 days a year in Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton and we have 96 clients in our accommodation on any given evening. By taking part in the Big Sleep Out and raising as much as possible, you can help us to empower homeless and vulnerable people to make positive changes in their lives.
What happens at the event? The event does not aim to replicate homelessness but it will give you a small insight into the harsh realities of rough sleeping. We do promise to make the night enjoyable for you and keep you fed and watered! Registration takes place from 4:00pm followed by the big build of cardboard shelters. This will be followed by the official judging and award of ‘Best Shelter’, a BBQ and evening of entertainment for all our participants.
