LINE UP; Headliner – Danny Deegan With the confidence and swagger that you might expect of a North-West comedian at the very top of his game, Danny Deegan is a comedian, writer and actor who has become a regular at most of the major comedy clubs in the UK since he began performing in 2003.

Danny’s tales of mischief and the characters he creates have kept audiences all over the country enthralled as he weaves in and out of the people he has met traveling. His talent and likability coupled with his confidence make him one of the most popular acts in the North.

Exiled Cornishman Paul Kerensa has established himself as one of British comedy’s leading young talents, both as a writer and a comedian. In just a few short years he has become a regular at the UK’s biggest venues, and a popular and reliable headline act. Still only in his late twenties, Paul has, as a ginger man, battled both prejudice and apathy, and emerged to win ITV’s ‘Take The Mike’ stand-up competition in 2002.

In the same year, he appeared in four new act finals at the Edinburgh Festival, including the televised BBC New Comedy Awards. “attitude, style and diamond-sharp wit” Maxim Magazine “f**king funny” Ricky Gervais “ingenious” Evening Standard Compere – Chris Norton Walker (Famously MC’d our Christmas show and was truly loved!)

Chris pokes fun at comedians and audiences alike; mocking assumptions and challenging notions. He uses himself, and his life experiences, as a mirror to ridicule stand up comedy and to deconstruct established comedy motifs. He regularly performs all across the country taking his brand of one-liners, hilarious anecdotes and a commanding stage persona with him.

Open Spots; Neil Braeman Neil’s style is not quite one liner, but is short and sharp with multiple laughs per minute guaranteed as he tells you about his life experiences. Not much of it true to be honest, but that’s not the point. “The idea with comedy is not to be too clever” he says which, in his case, is just as well.
