Bognor Regis has been blooming beautifully for over three decades, thanks to the dedication of local gardeners, volunteers, and the fantastic Town Force Team from Bognor Regis Town Council.
Since its launch in 1992, Bognor Regis in Bloom has been an annual celebration of gardening talent, creativity, and the joy that flowers bring to our town. Every summer, residents, businesses, and community groups roll up their sleeves, plant their seeds, and bring bursts of colour to doorsteps, balconies, shopfronts, and public spaces.
Judging the gardens
Last month, the judging for the 2025 competition took place, with entrants showcasing everything from carefully tended front gardens to imaginative container displays. The judges toured the town, admiring the creativity, skill, and passion that went into each display.
We’ll have to wait until October to find out who this year’s winners will be, but in the meantime, we wanted to shine a light on some of the incredible floral arrangements that make Bognor Regis such a vibrant and welcoming place to live and visit.
A town blooming all year round
While the competition is a highlight, Bognor Regis enjoys beautiful blooms year-round. That’s largely thanks to the hardworking Town Force Team, who maintain and refresh the floral displays across the town. From the vibrant hanging baskets lining the High Street to the colourful flowerbeds along the seafront, their efforts make a real difference to our town’s charm and appeal.
