The school holidays may be over, but the fun continues in Bognor Regis! September is packed with exciting events that you won’t want to miss. Indexical: Exhibition of Visual Art
Indexical is an exhibition of visual art by Fine Art staff at the University of Chichester, open from Friday, 6th September to Saturday, 14th September 2024 (closed Sunday, 8th). Weekday viewing is by appointment only; email [email protected] or call 01243 816253 to schedule. No booking is required on Saturdays, when the exhibition is open to the public from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Visit the RSPB Visitor Centre at Pagham Harbour and try their wide range of binoculars and telescopes and have a chat with their friendly optics experts. Whether you’re a complete beginner, an experienced birder or buying as a present, the team are happy to help. Saturday 7th September, 10 am – 3 pm Free event, no need to book.

Roald Dahl Day 2024
Children’s writer Roald Dahl was born on September 13, 1916 – and the anniversary of his birth is now a national special day on which we celebrate his work. On Friday 13th September, from 10 am, Heygates Bookshop will be giving 50% off RRP on brand new copies of Roald Dahl’s children’s books (while stocks last). Southdowns Music Festival 2024
The Southdowns Music Festival goes into its second decade this year and takes place from 20th until 22nd September 2024. Centered around Bognor Regis Town Centre and Seafront, the 2024 festival will build on the big success of previous years, with superb musical and other entertainment to suit every taste.

Pixels @ The Museum
Join the fun at Pixels at the Museum – A Retro Computer and Videogaming Event at Bognor Regis Museum on Saturday 21st September, from 11 am. Entry is free, with donations to the Museum. Relive nostalgic moments and introduce a new generation to retro gaming and computing. Artists and Makers Fayre
Celebrate artists and designer-makers from Aldingbourne, Barnham, Eastergate, Walberton, Yapton, and surrounding villages, plus guest artists, on 28th September 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm. The event will be held at Barnham and Eastergate Community Trust. Discover contemporary automata, assemblages, cards, ceramics, fused glass, jewellery, lino cuts, paintings, photography, prints, sculpture, textile arts, and more. Bognor Regis Puppet Party
Last, but certainly not least! Into The Labyrinth: A Celebration of Puppetry at the Bognor Regis Puppet Party
Join in the fun on 28th-29th September 2024, from 11 am to 5 pm, at the Royal Norfolk Hotel, Bognor Regis. Enjoy puppet shows, street entertainers, Punch and Judy, marionettes, ventriloquism, clowns, magicians, and musicians. Celebrate Jim Henson’s 1986 classic film “Labyrinth.” The event features Mr Punch’s antics by The Punch and Judy Club, comedian and ventriloquist Max Fulham, and James Arnott’s Puppets on Parade.
