If you are in search of somewhere peaceful, Old Rectory Gardens in Felpham offers a tranquil escape. Just a gentle stroll along the prom brings you to this hidden gem, where you can pause, breathe and enjoy a quieter pace.
Slindon Woods
If you head down to the woods in April or May, you are sure of a big surprise.
Slindon Woods is popular all year round, but it truly comes into its own in late spring. Maintained by the National Trust, the woods are renowned for their stunning blankets of bluebells, creating a magical carpet of colour beneath the trees.
Arundel Castle Tulip Festival
Each year, Arundel Castle puts on a spectacular display of tulips for visitors to enjoy. While entry is ticketed, you can choose garden only admission and still experience the full impact of the vibrant floral displays. It is a wonderful seasonal outing and well worth a visit.
