Bognor Regis Seafront Lights at West Street

PROGRESS STATUS: DELIVERED (February 2024)

There’s now even more reason to visit Bogor Regis after dusk, following the installation of new lighting displays at West Street.

The six new displays, featuring blue and green festoon lighting, were installed in February 2024, in a partnership between the Bognor Regis Business Improvement District and volunteers at Bognor Regis Seafront Lights.  The installation adds to existing illuminations making attractive connections between the seafront and town centre at Gloucester Road, York Road, Norfolk Street, Waterloo Square and Place St Maur.

As with all other light displays across the town, the new installations at West Street have been fitted with high-tech timers which adjust automatically, coming on at dusk and turning off at 11pm, 365 days of the year. You can read more about the high-tech timer project in our Progress story here: Bognor Regis Seafront Lights – new tech – Love Bognor Regis

The project was part-funded by Bognor Regis businesses through the levy paid to the BID To deliver their priorities in the town, with additional funding support from Arun’s allocation from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
