Prefer to cook your own?

If you’re feeling inspired to bring the fish and chip experience home, you’re in luck. Just east of the pier on the promenade, you’ll find The Bognor Fishermen’s Association (BFA).

This group of local fishermen sells their fresh catch directly from their stall, depending on the tides and weather. From gleaming bass and cod to local shellfish, it’s the perfect way to support Bognor’s fishing heritage and cook up something fresh.

Opening times vary, so we recommend checking their Facebook page before you visit to find out when they’ll be open next.

Because let’s face it…

Fish and chips are always a good idea – whether you like yours wrapped in paper, served at a table, or cooked at home with a squeeze of lemon.
