Classical guitar recital by Gary Ryan

Gary Ryan is a leading exponent of the classical guitar; as a performer, teacher, adjudicator and composer. His gift of a ‘good ear’ for capturing lyrical folk melodies and inventive reworking of their musical themes and rhythms has produced numerous compositions that stir the imagination of students of all ages. The landscapes and folklore of differing cultures throughout the world come to life in his recitals with his use of the guitar both as a stringed and percussive instrument.
