The South Downs Festival of Food and Fizz

The South Downs Festival of Food and Fizz is set to delight the senses on June 8th, 2024, from 12pm to 5pm. Held in the picturesque medieval village of Cocking, nestled beneath the South Downs, this inaugural event promises an array of local culinary delights. Visitors can savor a selection of local sparkling wines, craft beers, ciders, and gins, alongside gourmet sushi, wood-fired pizzas, and award-winning cheeses. Sweet treats like honey, sorbets, ice creams, and chocolates will be available, as well as premium herbs and spices to enhance home cooking.

The festival will also host educational talks from experts like Gusborne’s vineyard manager on regenerative viticulture and Brilliant Gin on gin’s history. For music enthusiasts, live performances from Anouska Assisi, Get Catweasel and the Hench Collective, and Between the Lines are scheduled.
