The BIG Switch at 6

Come and enjoy all the sights and sounds of the annual Christmas lights switch on, taking place on Saturday 30th November 4pm, until 7pm. ADC are supporting the event with free parking at Fitzleet multi-storey car park from 12-6pm.

The BIG Switch at 6: Dig out your fluro, grab a glow stick (FREE from the red Control Point Gazebo) and take a trip back in time to the awesome 80’s with the incredible ‘Absolute 80’s’ band live on stage.

Don’t drop that glow stick and join in with the fabulous LED Drummers who will be leading us into the BIG SWITCH AT 6, when the Towns Christmas lights will be switched on by the Town Mayor and Town Crier, helped by the mesmerising Mirror Men.

A magical Virtual Reality Sleigh ride experience will take you on a four minute Santa’s Sleigh Ride, Goody Bags, Illuminated Stilt Walkers and the epic Mirror Men will all be in the Town throughout the day.

Bognor Regis Concert Band at The Railway Station

As part of the Town Council’s entertainment programme for the Christmas Lights Switch-On event, the Bognor Regis Concert band will be playing a selection of festive music on the Railway Concourse. Performance times: Saturday 30th November, 3.30pm – 5.30pm.

This festive season, take on the Local Christmas Challenge and see what items from your shopping list you can find locally!

Join us in celebrating Small Business Saturday on Saturday, 7th December. This national campaign encourages businesses to promote themselves, collaborate with other small businesses, and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small, independent businesses in their communities. ADC is supporting the event with free parking at Hothamton Car Park all day. Stay tuned to our social media channels to watch the short film featuring the winning businesses in Bognor Regis, nominated by the public.

The Sound of Christmas

Enjoy the magnificent sound of The Bognor Regis Salvation Army band, as they grace the town centre with their traditional music on Saturday 30th November, 11am until 1pm, Saturday 7th December, 11am until 1pm, Saturday 21st December, 11am until 12pm, and Tuesday 24th December, 11am until 1pm. The band will be performing outside Boots on the London Road, filling the air with the spirit of the season.

Live Nativity Event

Bognor Churches Together will be presenting a ‘live nativity’ event in the heart of the town centre on Saturday 21st December at 12.30pm. This heartwarming celebration will unite members of local churches and the broader community, offering a unique and engaging way to commemorate Christmas.
