This church is on a site first build on by the Saxons 1300 years ago. The name is after Archbishop Thomas a Becket who was murdered in 1170 in Canterbury Cathedral. The beautiful church has been at the centre of village life for many centuries and is still a vibrant, thriving and welcoming part of the community. There are many church groups which operate as part of the church with a special emphasis on young people. The main structure is much as it was eight centuries ago with the Early English style of architecture.
